For International Women’s Day, we were thrilled to celebrate by bringing together two of our incredible board members, Willa Glover and Marisa Lopez, for a dynamic and thought-provoking panel discussion.
Their stories of resilience, dedication, and groundbreaking work were nothing short of inspiring. From their impactful service with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to their transformative contributions to human resources in our community, Willa and Marisa shared their journeys of overcoming challenges and driving meaningful change. Their experiences highlighted the power of perseverance and the profound impact women can have in shaping both their industries and communities.
Our COO, Sam Tate, guided the conversation, providing a platform for Willa and Marisa to reflect on the lessons they’ve learned along the way. We explored how they’ve navigated their careers, the obstacles they’ve overcome, and the ways they continue to advocate for a more inclusive and supportive environment for women in the workplace. The discussion also touched on their hopes and aspirations for the future, as they shared their vision for empowering the next generation of women leaders.
